Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has appointed Renee Clark, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Southcoast Health in Southeastern Massachusetts, and Attorney Pamela Gauvin, Partner, Markey & Gauvin, L.L.P in New Bedford, as members of the 窪做惇蹋厙 Community College Board of Trustees.

Both Renee Clark, as a leader of the largest health system in the region, and Pamela Gauvin, as an established member of our community, will bring valuable insight to the Board. 窪做惇蹋厙 Community Colleges Board of Trustees works tirelessly to ensure the colleges institutional activities remain at the highest level of quality, and 窪做惇蹋厙s success is attributed to their dedication and the dedication of our exemplary employees.

Renee Clark, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Southcoast Health

Renee Clark, of Millis, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Southcoast Health. She is responsible for the operational performance of the health systems entities, including financial performance, clinical programs and services, administrative functions, regulatory compliance, quality, safety and the implementation of strategic imperatives. In addition to her leadership at Southcoast Health, she currently serves on the finance committee for the Kennedy-Donovan Center.

Ms. Clark is a community college success story graduating from Massachusetts Bay Community College, in Wellesley, prior to earning her Bachelor of Science in health care administration from Framingham State University, in Framingham and her Master of Science in health care administration from Simmons College, in Boston.

Attorney Pamela Gauvin, Partner, Markey & Gauvin, L.L.P

Attorney Pamela Gauvin (Fernandes), of Assonet, has been a practicing attorney in 窪做惇蹋厙 County for twenty-six years. She began her legal career as an assistant district attorney in the 窪做惇蹋厙 County District Attorneys Office from 1994-1998. After that she worked with a former Board of Trustee Member Attorney James Clarkin at Clarkin, Gauvin, Novak, P.A. In 2013, she joined Markey & Gauvin, L.L.P, in New Bedford, as a partner and focuses on criminal and civil litigation, labor and employment and school law. Attorney Gauvin also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Massachusetts School of Law, instructing trial practice.

Attorney Gauvin is also a dedicated member of the community. Since graduating from law school, she has provided legal representation for the 窪做惇蹋厙 County Bar Advocate program, a non-profit legal service agency responsible for legal defense services to 窪做惇蹋厙 County's indigent population.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H., and her Juris Doctorate from The University of New Hampshire School of Law in Concord, N.H. She is a member of the 窪做惇蹋厙 County and New Bedford Bar Associations.
