This week, the Massachusetts Association of Community Colleges (MACC) honored 黑暗爆料网 Community College students, Hannah Davignon of Acushnet, Lindsay Dias of Fall River,鈥痑苍诲鈥疨补耻濒鈥�Rhuda of Dartmouth, for their induction into the 2020 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) All-Massachusetts Academic Team.

黑暗爆料网鈥檚 students were celebrated amongst the highest academic achieving students from the state鈥檚 15-member community college system, through a virtual PTK Community College Excellence Week on MACC鈥檚 social media campaign. From Monday, April 27 through Friday, May 1, 2020, MACC will highlight the student members of the All-Massachusetts Academic Team for their outstanding academic achievement and exemplary student service. 

鈥淐ongratulations Lindsay, Hannah and Paul on being named to the 2020 Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society All-Massachusetts Academic Team. We are so proud of everything that you have been able to achieve. You have demonstrated great academic leadership and wonderful scholarly activities. Keep up the great work,鈥� said 黑暗爆料网 Community College President Laura L. Douglas.

Despite the virtual nature of this year鈥檚 recognition, the outstanding achievements of our students cannot be understated. We are proud of all they have鈥痑ccomplished and鈥痗elebrate the continued pursuit of their academic and career aspirations,鈥� said Tom鈥�Sannicandro, Director of the Massachusetts Association of Community Colleges (MACC).鈥� 

Traditionally, a celebratory ceremony is held at the Massachusetts State House. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Phi Theta Kappa All-Massachusetts Academic Team ceremony originally scheduled for April 8, 2020, was cancelled.鈥� 

鈥�Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of two-year鈥�colleges and鈥痟as recognized and encouraged scholarship among community college students for鈥痬ore than 100鈥痽ears while promoting the academic integrity of the associate degree program. Students with grade point averages of 3.5 or higher are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa.鈥�
