ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Community College welcomed new students at the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Experience (ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍøEXP) event on Wednesday, September 1

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Experience 2021On Wednesday, September 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Community College welcomed the college’s new students at the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Experience (ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍøEXP) event on the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Fall River Campus. At the event, students were able to meet with many of our student support services, connect with academic departments and explore the campus before the Fall 2021 semester begins on Tuesday, September 7.

To support social distancing, activities were hosted throughout the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Fall River Campus, featuring tours of the college’s Library & Learning Commons; one-on-one appointments with members of the academic advising team, financial aid staff, and faculty; as well as fun activities including family-friendly crafts and a barbeque lunch.

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Experience 2021The event included two Resource Fairs, where students could learn about the college’s available degree and certificate programs, support services, clubs, activities and student centers, including ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's Multicultural Student Center, Basic Needs Center, the new Student Success Center and more.

For students unable to attend the day’s in-person activities, the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Experience event was complemented with the option for students to meet with ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s academic leaders virtually by Zoom and closed with a special virtual Question & Answer event with ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Community College President Laura L. Douglas, where students shared and discussed their questions about the upcoming fall semester.
