ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Community College to host virtual Women Writing History: A Coronavirus Journaling project presentation on Monday, May 10
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Community College will host a virtual presentation of the college’s Women Writing History: Coronavirus Journaling project, on Monday, May 10, at 4 p.m. For this special event, participants, from all walks of life, will be sharing their powerful stories of how women have been persevering throughout the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. The event is free and open to everyone who registers at the website link below.
Register here: The innovative Women Writing History project, organized by ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Community College’s throughout the college’s spring semester, invited ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø students and community members from all genders, backgrounds, cultures and socio-economic circumstances to be a part of living history and contribute their journalistic efforts to the collaborative project.
Based on the project of the same name by the National Women’s History Museum, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s initiative aims to help capture the ·É´Ç³¾±ð²Ô’s voice and how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted daily lives and perspectives. The project’s journal submissions include written pieces, video or audio recordings, photographs and original artworks.
